Local-first · Bring Your Own Key

Every AI nods along with you.
This one doesn't.

Don't bet your future on a single opinion. Multiple AI agents debate → a clear Decision Record.

✅ VERDICT: SEO as the base, ads only after conversion data
Confidence: High
Main risk: SEO takes 4–6 months to generate leads
Next step: 2 weeks of SEO + social content; 6 weeks to measure signals before running ads.
WHY I BUILT THIS

I almost named this project wrong.

When picking a domain, I fell for a name that sounded powerful. Asked ChatGPT — it loved it. Asked Claude — nodded along. No one warned me.

Then I brought it to NoFlattery. Four agents jumped in and tore it apart: trademark conflict, Google intent mismatch, SEO battle with BBC. Things I never thought of.

One AI nodding doesn't help. Four AIs who know how to disagree — that's where you see the blind spots.

No flattery. Just truth.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps.

1

State your problem

Paste the situation keeping you up at night. Attach images or text files (.txt, .md) for visual context.

2

Pick your Council

Choose 2–3 agents (Free) or 4 (Pro) with different lenses: analytical (numbers), strategic (long game), psychological (people), or custom.

3

Get the Verdict

Read the debate or hit one button to auto-generate a one-page Decision Record, ready to share.

THE AGENTS

4 default agents. Add as many as you want.

Four presets to start instantly — each built to disagree with the others. Add custom agents: a lawyer, a psychologist, your CTO, your CFO — whoever you need.

🔢

The Analyst

"Where's the evidence?" — Numbers, probabilities, expected value. No feelings, no assumptions.

The Strategist

"Who wins if you pick this?" — Power, incentives, second-order effects.

❤️

The Humanist

"How does this affect the person you care about most?" — Psychology, values, emotion.

🔗

The Integrator

"What if both sides are partly right?" — Bridges contradictions, finds the third option.

WHEN TO USE IT

When asking ChatGPT isn't enough.

💼 Take the job or stay?

"Offer pays 40% more but it's an unprofitable startup — should I jump?" The Analyst compares total comp (salary, equity, benefits). The Humanist asks: "What do you fear regretting more — not trying, or trying and failing?" The Strategist analyzes the startup's runway. No one says "it depends."

🏠 Buy or keep renting?

"I have $50K saved, earn $6K/month — mortgage or rent 3 more years?" The Analyst runs interest-rate scenarios + opportunity cost. The Humanist probes family pressure and the fear of being locked down. The Integrator proposes rent-then-buy. Full picture, not "just buy it."

👥 Hire or outsource?

"Full-time hire or freelancer to ship faster?" The Analyst calculates opportunity cost. The Humanist asks: "If the new person doesn't gel, how long can the team take it?" The Strategist checks remaining budget. A record you can defend to your boss.

⚙️ Build or buy?

"Build in-house or buy an off-the-shelf solution?" The Analyst demands 3-year TCO numbers. The Strategist flags vendor lock-in. The Integrator proposes a hybrid path. You decide on data, not instinct.

🔄 Push through or cut losses?

"Six months in, no revenue — keep going or stop?" The council dissects sunk cost fallacy, opportunity time, and market signals. Helps you dodge the "just three more months" trap everyone falls into.

🔁 Pivot or dig deeper?

"Flat growth for two quarters — change direction or stay the course?" The council analyzes cohort data, competitors, and market trends. Helps you tell "not enough time" from "wrong direction" — instead of guessing.

From the first rooms

"I was about to dump most of my launch budget into Meta ads. ChatGPT said 'great for quick traction.' Claude said 'consider SEO too.' Helpful.

NoFlattery was different. The Strategist said I'd be bidding against competitors who already have brand trust — without any of my own, my CAC would be 2–3x what I'd modeled. The Analyst backed it up: at my price point, ads needed 5–6 months to break even, and my runway couldn't absorb that. The Humanist came at it differently: cold retargeting users who'd never heard of me felt like spam; SEO let them come to me. The Integrator landed on: SEO as the base, one social angle to test messaging, tiny ad spend only after real conversion data.

The win wasn't landing on SEO. It was watching 'ads first' get taken apart before I spent anything."

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT

Not another AI black box.

Single AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)

Every model gives you one perspective. Sycophancy bias is real — they're trained to agree. You never know what was missed because no one pushed back.

NoFlattery

1. Multi-perspective, not one "reasoning" model: Every model reasons. But it's still one viewpoint from one provider. NoFlattery puts 4 agents with different biases in direct debate.

2. Visible debate: You see every agent challenge each other's reasoning — quotable, reviewable, ready for your meeting.

3. Permanent record: Every session is stored locally, searchable, exportable as Markdown — evidence to defend your decision.

FAQ

Common questions.

What does "Bring your own API Key" mean?+

You enter your own API key from OpenAI, Google, OpenRouter, or any compatible provider in Settings. You pay them directly based on usage — we charge nothing on top. This also means your chat data goes only to the provider you choose, never through our servers.

Is my data really private?+

Data never touches NoFlattery servers. When you call a model, content goes directly from your browser to the AI provider using your own API key. Chat history and API keys are stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB). The only exception: if you buy Pro, just your license key is checked with our payment provider (Creem) to activate the device — never your chats or API keys.

How is this different from ChatGPT or "ask 5 AI" apps?+

ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Kimi — every model reasons. But it's still one perspective from one provider. NoFlattery puts 4 agents with different biases in direct debate, catching each other's blind spots, and saves the full transcript for you to review or bring to a meeting.

How do I upgrade to Pro?+

Buy Pro through our Creem checkout (one-time, no subscription). You'll get a license key by email — paste it in Settings → Enter Key to activate this device. Pro works on a limited number of devices; only your license key is checked with our payment provider, never your chats or API keys.

Should I use one AI provider for all agents, or mix different ones?+

Each agent already has a distinct bias built in — but mixing providers takes it further. Different models, different training data, different blind spots. GPT may miss what DeepSeek catches, and vice versa. The debates get sharper when worldviews actually differ.
